snail season

well snail season is among us again and here's just a little snippet ( if that's even a word ) of our day today .

so whoever knows jakob knows he's really into snails , well today he found one in his truck and picks it up to watch it on a stump , he can watch them for what seems like hours ... it's awesome !

he's busy hanging out with his new found friend and i'm off to help izzy with something else , when i get back to jakob and his snail i sit on the big stump the one where the snail WAS NOT on before ( do you know where this is going ?)

me : jakob where did your snail go ?

jakob : MOOOOOOOOM !!!!!!!

me : what ..... did you throw him somewhere ? you know you're not supposed to do that , that's not nice .

jakob :MOOOOOOOOOM!!!( pointing to my bum )

so i get up and sure enough i was sitting on him , who knows how he survived but i'd like to thank that little snail for not making me look like a big loser in front of my son , it must have been quite frightening ......
