dave had the day off today and so we decided to have a zoo day with the kids , what a great way to spend the day ! i mean jakob looks at an animal for about 30 seconds before he says more? more? ya ok and so we mosey on . jakobs favorite would definitely be mmm.. the trackers that drive by , the train , and people on bikes ,but the look on his face when he is on the train is the reason we have to get a year pass he just loves it soo much. oh ya and the playground was also a fav. for him as we spent about an hour there with him :)the panther didn't do much but sit there ,so many
of them just look so bored .
oh and the giraffe , now i've never thought of them as beautiful until today , i really see things different through my camera , and today they were my fav. animal !
and the freaky ostrich , ok look at how small their eyes are .... now they told us there that their brains are smaller than their eyes ... did everybody know that ??? whatever... i just learned that today :)
jakob at the playground ... his new found fav. is the slide , i can hardly wait to take him to the water slides oh i bet he'll love it :)
and last but NOT LEAST our izzy , this was her first time on a real swing :) she was so cute , she loves watching jakob on the swing .
this was daves warm up for the big game , THAT WE ARE STILL WATCHING !!! 3rd ot ??? it's 11:30 ....oh well , playoffs eh ???
and the kids suited up for the game , GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

If Jakob loves the train, don't forget about the lighted train in Vancouver for halloween and Christmas....I know evil me to even mention that time of year when we are just getting rid of the snow here and wondering if summer will ever come...screw spring lets just skip it this year. There is some green grass out there...very little, but up to 9 degrees yesturday and snow melting fast woohoo...Fourth o/t? Crazy. Don't show JB those jammies...lol

Did the kids wear their jammies again tonight? I watched the first 2 periods and then I had our women's Bible Study here, so I missed the best part of the game. I'm glad they won (without me). Who wants to watch the game here on Thursday night?
