the past few days have been so good here , such a nice change from last week , jakob's using so many more words lately it's awesome !!!! today he finally said help ,without screaming and me saying " help please " and even then he would sign and that works well too but he's moving past that , i am so glad we did and still do that with him . we're planning on signing with izzy too , seeing as we had such a positive experience with it . i can't believe she's almost four months old . she is so close to rolling over and "talks" all the time , it feels like she'll be one in no time !and then i think , whow jakob will be two in a month and a half , and then i think ....... i'm so old !!!!!!!!

Are you guys getting ready to move out our way? I didn't even know there was curling in the lower mainland. I heard rumors about Bob doing it when I was a kid, but i never saw the sport until i moved out here. Glad you had fun.

mmm... something to think about... no... we're not ready yet :)
Prior to the formation of the Abbotsford Curling Club in 1957 most of the curlers would travel to Mission to curl. In 1956 a group of these curlers started plans to build their own facility. In 1975 plans were made to construct a new six sheet building. The original arrangements with the Matsqui Municipal Council were satisfactory, but later other stipulations were entered and the agreement was not completed. Following this, a new building committee was formed and negotiations were entered into with the Abbotsford Municipal Council, property was leased on MacMillan Road and a new six sheet facility was built.
